Significant growth and record sales year for coatings specialist
Global coatings manufacturer Witwood Food Products is celebrating a year of substantial growth and record sales.

Bryan Day, MD of the company, which manufactures food coatings from its UK headquarters in Banbury, is delighted with the latest figures: "We have seen growth of 9% across all areas of the business against a forecast of 6.5%," he says.

"Our European operation finished the year significantly over budget and this upward trend has continued into our new financial year."

Witwood Food Products employs over 200 people worldwide and specialises in the development of innovative blended coatings including breadcrumbs, batters, marinades and seasonings for international poultry, vegetable and fish processors.

The firm was founded by current chairman David Osborne in the UK over twenty years ago and now services an expanding global customer base through subsidiaries in Australia and Asia, and a strategic alliance with a manufacturing firm in the USA.
